About tax calculators
The Australian Taxation Office has taxation tables for business
and personal income taxes, and offers a set of tax calculators to help you determine your taxes. Tax calculators operate by asking you questions about your income level and applicable conditions to your case before generating a report showing the calculated deductions (or reasons for not allowing deductions) and the resulting tax level. Compatible operating systems for e-tax
As of now, you can run the e-tax program only on Windows 200 or XP, and most Internet browsers will allow you to download and loadge the online version of the software.
Linux and Apple Macintosh computers cannot run the current version of e-tax . However, e-tax has been tested and cleared for use on an Apple computer running the OS Xv10.4.3 operating system with Virtual PC 7 software that mimics either Window 200o or XP.
